I was introduced to STERIS in July and asked to come up to Auckland to help them to capture a mixture of images for their brand new office space in Hobsonville Point.
This shoot was a great chance to mix my expertise in commercial photography with event photography, and a great opportunity to create some content in an entirely new industry to me, the healthcare and medical world.
STERIS is well known for being a global juggernaut in the medical device and healthcare industry, so to get the opportunity to capture content for them, and flown up from Queenstown two different times was an incredible experience.
I worked hard to make sure the content they received would have been up to the strict global standards, but also to bring the “New Zealand element” into the images and the relatable and impactful imagery that I am used to capturing.
It wa sa great experience working this job solo, and am really proud to have captured such a variety of content that they will continue to use internally as they grow the NZ business. The testimonial video was not planned initially, but I was able to do it on the fly without my normal audio equipment. It was a last minute decision because a videographer they had planned to use did not show up.
So I am glad I was prepared enough to capture it for them, and the Well Foundation ended up using in their press release to discuss the charitable donation to the Healing Garden at the North Shore Hospital.
A great result for all, and a great opportunity to work with such a recognisable brand
